National Escrow Services (NES) is an Iowa-licensed closing agent founded in 2011. Received one of the first Iowa closing agent licenses issued by the Iowa Department of Banking. Started by a group of real estate veterans with more than sixty years of collective experience, National Escrow Services remains a company in which ownership is deeply involved and accessible to clients and employees.

ALTA Best Practices
The American Land Title Association (ALTA) worked extensively with national lenders and the CFPB to develop a framework of Best Practices for settlement and title agencies. National Escrow & Abstract has an established compliance program by which we achieve the seven pillars of the Best Practices, and is currently self-certified as Best Practices compliant. We are preparing for an examination level certification for Best Practices by an independent, national, third-party accounting firm.
